The Last Song

The film I would like to review was produced in 2010, its name is The Last Song.

The movie is based on the book written by internationally bestselling American novelist Nicholas Sparks, and tells the story of the 18 year old girl Ronnie (Miley Cyrus) that is coming out of age. After her parents divorced she is trying to find her sense of existence. During the story she decides to change her personallity and relationships in order to become more kindly person. On her way to change her fault behaviour she will have to pay a high-priced tax.

The genre of the movie is not clear, it includes the signs of a romance, drama and comedy. The story takes place in a little town nearby a sea shore, which makes the film quite interesting.  The movie convincingly shows a thin line between love and hate. The most memorable character is Ronnie´s father for whom she sings a song at the end.

I would recommend this film to anyone, especially  for those who cannot imagine Miley Cyrus acting in the main role like me. I must admit that thanks to this film i changed my mind. If you don´t believe me – just go and try it!
